About Andrew Huebscher

Andrew Huebscher is an award-winning cinematographer and visual storyteller. His feature credits include indie favorite Big Time Adolescence, cult-horror The Taking of Deborah Logan, and New Line Cinema’s House Party (2023). His films have played at scores of festivals around the world, including Sundance, Tribeca, Toronto, and SXSW.

On the small screen, Andrew has lensed over 1000 hours of programming for networks and streamers like ABC, AMC, Comedy Central, Disney, NBC, TV Land, Netflix, and VICE. His brand collaborations include Adidas, Apple, Audible, Bayer, Ford, Google, Kellogg’s, Meta, Microsoft, Paul Mitchell, Procter & Gamble, and Spotify, among others.

In addition to his work behind the camera, Andrew’s experience as a digital colorist stems from his early days in the darkroom, shaping a refined approach to tone, contrast, and color. This deep understanding allows him to push visual boundaries across every project.

Originally from Minnesota, Andrew was drawn to the cinematic frame at an early age. He studied filmmaking at the University of Southern California. Shortly after graduating, he was honored with the Heritage Award from the American Society of Cinematographers, recognizing his dedication to the craft and his ability to bring stories to life through film.

Andrew is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild (Local 600). He resides in Los Angeles with his husband and two rescue dogs.
